About Us

We are the Andersons, Dewey & Dianne. Dewey is the candleman and beef farmer. Dianne is a teacher. We have raised 3 sons and now enjoy 5 grandchildren. Of course, they are the best!

We created Show Me Country Gifts in 2001, specializing in soybean candles. Our goal was to produce a very high quality soybean candle. We use no paraffin in our candles.

We have tried almost every fancy glass and ceramic containers on the market. Our best and most popular turned out to be a simple pint size canning jar. It gives that "country" look. Besides that, it is heat tempered which means it is as safe as a candle can get.

The candleman makes and ships thousands of candles for people all over America each year. Our candles have even made it into many other countries too!

Our candles are 100% soy and 100% American. The jars, wicks, coloring, natural fragrance oils, and of course the soybeans, are all made in America. We use the highest grade of fragrance oil and put in as much fragrance as the soybean wax will take.
